For the last few months, I've been learning how to develop my own business. I've listened to podcasts, watched online webinars, and read a TON on business development. In January, I signed up for Jenna Kutcher's training on building an email list from scratch. Her content was on point, practical, and easy to implement. But what I loved most about Jenna is how down-to-earth she was. (Like how I make it sound as if we're BFF's already? Ha!)
Yesterday I was on the hunt for some inspiration, so I went to her site, www.jennakutcher.com, to see what new goodies she was promoting.
It was a quiz—and here's the truth, I don't typically take online quizes. You know, the ones that are always popping up on Facebook like: What Disney Princess are You, or What Celebrity do You Look Like?
But because Jenna knows what she's talking about—I took the bait and took her quiz on How to Own Your Awesome, Stand Out from the Crowd, Build a Successful Biz, and Have Fun Doing It!
My result was ... (drum roll please...)
Ok, so Dream Weaver sounds esoteric and brings to mind peace signs, bell bottoms, and floral headdresses. But the description of my current business style was spot on. On any given day I can go from confident, career woman blazing her own trail... to insecure who the heck do I think I am entrepreneur failing before I've even begun.
So, what's Jenna Kutcher's advice to Dream Weaver's like me?
"Don't let fear unravel you. You got this."
